The Plasma Bridge

The bridge floats over a huge gorge thousands of miles deep. Fully armed guards stand at attention, rifles pointed at any suspicious newcomers to Veinitia. Damien landed on the bridge silently, but his rapid arival startled a gaurd who fumbled for his rifle and jerked the trigger several times. Damien stood there yawning as several bullets flew far from thier mark. The rifle jammed and the young soldier cursed loudly. Laughing at the kids mistake he said New recruit, eh? Damien walked up to the side of the city wall and easily jumped the 20 yards. Landing softly on top, he snatched the rifle from the kid and cleared the misfired round from the chamber. There was a mass build up of carbon that blocked it from cycling the action. Tsking at the carelessness of the cleaning Damien swiched the safety on and tossed the rifle back at the kid. Wh, Who are you!? The shocked gaurd asked in a low voice. Winking Damien replied, Don't worry, I'm the good guy. Walking to the end of the wall, he turned and said, Might wan't to clean that weapon of yours before the massive army of raiders hell bent on Veinitia's destruction gets here, unless your planning on useing it as a club... Damien jumped as the gaurd started to laugh, before saying, Wait, What did you say!?!?! Damien was already gone...

Damien yawned as he laid on the huge pile of earth that the bodies were buried under, the raider army had been laughably weak compaired to Damiens abilities, and in a few seconds (Not counting time manipulation of course.) the whole fight was over. Damien scanned the Timelines when he senced a disturbance, Zeigrick had dissapered, vanished from his place in destiny. Not good. Well so much for my vacation...
Damien knew Zeigrick wasn't dead or Rashir would have told him, so the only other option was that he had somehow time traveled, and that means even worse consequences if he isnt carefull, and Damien didnt think carefull was like Zeig at all.
